UNEB Releases 2024 UACE Results Today

The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has officially released the 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examination results today, March 14, 2025.

The release event took place at State House, Nakasero, presided over by the Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Museveni.

“A significant increase in candidature was observed, with 142,017 candidates registering for the 2024 exams, compared to 110,579 in the previous year, marking a 28.4% rise.”

Notably, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts in this examination cycle.

How to Access Your 2024 UACE Results

1. SMS Method

  • Open your phone’s messaging app.
  • Type “UACE” followed by a space and your index number (e.g., UACE U0001/001).
  • Send this message to 6600.
  • You will receive a response with your results shortly (standard SMS charges apply).

2. Online Portal

  • Visit the UNEB e-Registration Results Portal at https://ereg.uneb.ac.ug/results.
  • Enter your index number in the provided field.
  • Click on “Search” to view your results.

While digital access to results is immediate, hard copies will be distributed to schools at a later date. UNEB will provide further communication regarding the availability of these copies.

Certificates will be printed after necessary reviews and corrections, and schools will be notified when they are ready for collection.
